The facts behind a mysterious population who lived in the Northwest in prehistoric times. The only record of their existence is in the archaeological record they left behind.  This volume is available through the Clark County Historical Museum (cchm@pacifier.com--you might ask for Karen) and the Oregon Archaeological Society (oregonarchaeological.org--you might ask for Denise).

Models of ancient climates within Oregon, which explain the previous presence of animal and human populations in the state.  The information presented in this volume was validated by the investigation of many different archaeological sites. Much of the site data are included in this book. To obtain a copy, please contact the University of Utah Press.
